Improv Blog Hop: Day 1

Here comes inspiration! You've seen what Amy Friend has made with her new Improv fabric collection; for the rest of the week we have five bloggers sharing what they've made with these fun, modern fabrics. Be sure to stop by each day to see a new project made with Improv! (And if you missed our original interview with Amy, find it here.)

Today, Stephanie from Spontaneous Threads is sharing the "Along for the Ride" car blanket/quilt she made using Improv (check out her hand quilting, and wait until you see what she used for backing!). Head over to her blog to read more about her quilt design, as well as how to assemble a quilt like hers, and then enter to win a fat quarter bundle of Improv.

Stephanie says:
"Mixing passions is a privilege and when Amy asked if I would participate in the Improv fabric blog hop I got to do just that. Using these beautiful and soft cotton prints in a novel and modern design is something that I have been wanting to do. Come along for the ride......"

  1. I guess nothing says that our quilts need to be 3 layer sandwiches of cotton. Neat way to dress up a throw.
